MYF Youth Pilgrimage Heads to Maine This Spring
Each year over Spring Break Morrow Youth Fellowship (MYF) embarks on a week-long pilgrimage grounded in three core values: education, service, and faith. These trips are designed to stretch perspectives, deepen relationships, and connect faith to real-world issues.
This year, our youth and chaperones will travel to southern Maine from Sunday, March 29 through Friday, April 3. During the week, they will study how individuals and organizations across the Pine Tree State are addressing environmental concerns, both inland and along the coast, while also spending time volunteering and learning from local leaders.
Past pilgrimages have taken MYF to New Mexico to explore Native American history and resilience, through the Deep South to study the Civil Rights Movement, and to Puerto Rico to examine environmental justice and hurricane recovery. Each trip builds on the last, challenging our youth to think critically, serve humbly, and grow in faith.
We invite the congregation to join us in worship on Sunday, March 29 to offer a blessing and warm send-off before the group departs. Prayers for safe travels, meaningful fellowship, fun, and learning are deeply appreciated.
If anyone would like to support the group in a small but tangible way, please reach out to us opendoors@morrowchurch.org.
Stay tuned for stories and photos when the group returns!
